The Gifted Alpaca is open Thursday till Saturday from 10 am -5pm. We are always available by appointment.
Finally spring is here. The snow is melting and I saw some crocus shoots coming up !! The Alpacas are feeling the spring also. They are running around and are just plain silly. It is a nice time for a drive. Come and see the Alpaca's and do a little bit of shopping at the same time.
We are getting in some new yarn. Besides our own Alpaca yarn we have a bamboo/silk/alpaca mix that is so wonderful to the touch. We also have some merino Alpaca in amazing color.
We have some rugs made from our own Alpaca fibre. We will not be available for tours on April 12th. This is the weekend of our big Alpaca show. There will be somebody in the store though. So feel free to drop in
Spring is here and now is a great time to start on those knitting,weaving projects you have wanted to start. We have some beautiful yarn from our Alpaca's. So many gorgeous natural colors. We also have some lovely died yarns too. We have lots of clover bamboo knitting needles and crochet hooks in stock and some fun gadgets for making pom poms and lace also.
We are now carrying Muskoka Soya Candles and the smell from all of them is so inviting. I have one lit most days in the store. So many new items are arriving ,if you have been considering a visit , now is the time. The babies are pronking around the field playing with each other in this cool weather. Dont forget your camera when you come.

This is taking me forever as it seems there is always something else to do, or I am to busy playing with the Alpacas and Leonbergers 
There are lots of wonderful soft Alpaca items for you to see. We also have handmade goats milk soaps in wonderful scents, Soya Candles, The trail of painted ponies and wolves collectables, Ornaments, Clover bamboo knitting needles even knitting needles that light up!! Pair that with some Alpaca Yarn from our own animals. We have the new Grapefruit scent of eucalan it is a very refreshing smell.
We are so happy to be carrying the wonderful silkpainted Neck warmers and headbands by well known silk artist Jan Pierson. They are all different and gorgeous. We have added felted hats made by Paula Shasta a wonderful local knitter. A new addition this month are beautiful handwoven blankets by Pat Neal

Watch our site for lots of new things happening here at Heronview. We will be having drop in days for spinners and knitters, heck anyone is invited. Bring your wheel, loom or needles and come and enjoy the company of others. We have a wonderful 1000 sq foot store with plenty of room to sit. We will be offering clesses in Spinning, felting and others fibre crafts.
The Scugog Spinners and weavers guild is having their drop in and spin day the 3rd Wednesday of the month here. All are welcome. Bring your wheel and join us from 1 - 3pm
